Engineering Safety Consulting (FLS)

Structural Analysis
STRUCTURAL DESIGN REVIEW & ASSISTANCE AT DESIGN STAGE
The service provided by ABECO is intended to inform the client. about the status of the works and existing structures, about compliance with regulations, and/or the presence of defects or damages that would reduce the safety or serviceability level of the structure.
Visual inspection of the existing under-construction work to investigate its actual site condition, identifying any areas of defects/non-conformities.
Review the accident and condition assessment report as prepared upon the occurrence of the incident.
Review the structural design of the related parts of the structure as originally conceived. Provide technical advice on the margin of safety inherent in the existing structural system contractor in construction
Review the history of the structure through available survey & QC site reports.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN REVIEW
Our engineers provide design review and assistance in the design of building structures from the early stages of the conceptual designs, through the review/Check of calculation notes and design drawings for their compliance with applicable codes and standards, till the final approval.
The widest variety of applicable load types and load cases is investigated, including Gravity Seismic, Wind, Thermal, and Vehicle. Impact and Blast loads. Most types of structural systems are covered, including Reinforced Concrete, Steel, Precast Post-Tensioned, Composite, Cable-Supported, and Tension structures. Well-known software packages in the building industry are utilized, including ETABS, SAP, SAFE, STAAD Pro, RAM Concept ROBOT, MIDAS PROKON, and ABAQUS.
Normal and ADVANCED types of analysis are used, such as Dynamic, Non-Linear, and P-Delta. Staged Construction and FE general 3D stress analysis, as well as fatigue and fracture mechanics, and general forensic structural analysis.
Issuing Licenses
